Join Birth Advocate
Birth Advocate is a doula collective. Started in spring 2006 by Gia Schultz, Birth Advocate has grown to include several doulas. We all work together to offer our clients a diverse set of options for doula care. We work as back-up for each other and support each other with get togethers, informational support and resources. Birth Advocate is not limited to doulas - we encourage all birth and postpartum professionals to join (Midwives, lactation counselors/educators, massage therapists, photographer or artist) If you are a Bay Area doula or birth professional looking to expand your community please contact us to find out about joining Birth Advocate.
