Here at Birth Advocate the doula/client relationship goes beyond the traditional services provided. Listed below you will find an extensive list of other services available to clients. In choosing a Birth Advocate doula you get the expertise of not just one doula but the knowledge of a group. Below you will find a list of services our doulas provide in addition to primary doula service.
¨ Birth Plan counseling.
¨ Access to library of birth, infant and small child books and literature. Available for check out and/or photocopying.
¨ Breast Pump rental – for short term rentals (1-2 weeks) to help support breastfeeding.
¨ Access to extensive list of referral services and networks for care with baby and self (e.g. pediatricians, lactation consultants, child care, OB/GYN, etc.).
¨ Infant/Family and Birth Photography.
¨ Baby Sign Language.
¨ Baby Wearing.
¨ Belly Casting.
- Prenatal Massage.
